The Jazz Collective is a London Ontario-based jazz group featuring Chris Alcantara (trumpet/flugelhorn), Don Di Carlo (piano), Joe Phillips (bass) and Jeff Floyd (drums). They play every third Monday at The Richmond Tavern from 8pm to 10pm. The band focuses on music that encourages collective and risk taking improvisation. For this performance, they will be joined by special guest trombonist, Robin Jessome, playing the music of the Clark Terry-Bob Brookmeyer Quintet.
